The Journey of Forgiveness in 7 Steps

Forgiveness is a process that we instinctively reject deeply. This word can evoke a religious concept or related to guilt, condemnation, sin. But forgiveness is much more than that.

Forgiveness is good for you: science recommends it for well-being and balance.

True forgiveness has incredible power.

Forgiveness does not mean forgetting. On the contrary, to forgive is to be able to keep well in mind what happened, but emptying it of pain, suffering, resentment, fear, anger.

Although the logics of Forgiveness may at first appear to be a weakness, it is quite the opposite.

It is precisely through this inner process that we are able to redefine experiences by transforming them from a negative experience to an opportunity for growth.

You can forgive a situation, an illness, a person, an animal, a job, an abstract thing, life, death, suffering–you can forgive even yourself.

The meaning of authentic forgiveness lies in giving.

Forgiveness is a free choice, an expression of one’s freedom:
Turning what weighs down the heart into a gift ..

DANIEL LUMERA, “THE 7 STEPS OF FORGIVENESS. THE SCIENCE OF HAPPINESS.”

“The Journey of Forgiveness in 7 Steps” path is designed to guide you on an inner journey in which you go through different stages, become aware of your conflicts and learn to recognize them as opportunities to evolve, as means and not obstacles. This fosters deep transformation, re-establishing a state of union and a sense of responsibility for what you feel, experience and do.

“Forgiveness is not a goal to be achieved but a way of walking.”

This path guides you through each step of forgiveness, from recognizing your current situation to becoming aware of the freedom to choose. With the help of Sara Valla, a Certified Meditation Teacher (DHYANA Academy) and Life Designer in Forgiveness from ISF (International School of Forgiveness), following Daniel Lumera’s My Life Design method, you can embark on a journey that promotes awareness and freedom.

To forgive is to free a prisoner And to discover that that prisoner was you. (Ancient Scripture)

I feel a change is needed that brings our needs back to the essentials, that restores value to silence, to light, to people who can bake bread and find time to listen to the wind, recognize it and talk to it, who are not ashamed to love and caress trees, the earth, people, or to be kind. For me, forgiveness has been this: a return to the essentials.
